-
- Not quite right. There is one SVR4.0/MP product, sold under different
- product codes for packaging and licencing reasons (some with EISA Config
- Util and boot floppy, some without). However, the same O/S release
- covers the U6000/15/35/60/65 as the supported platforms.
- You need to order the correct one to get the correct miscellaneous
- media, documentation and licencing for your target system. The U6000/60
- version will include ammendments to the H/W installation guides for
- SVR4.0/MP too. BE SURE TO ORDER THE CORRECT PRODUCT CODE.
-
- All O/S-es for these systems are built from the same source at the
- same time for release, so there are not two "versions". Some low level
- code is conditionally compiled for the U6000/60 architecture and H/W
- specific drivers, but it all comes from the same source. So don't worry
- about miss-matched rev levels and versions between platforms.
-
- The older 80386DX systems are NOT supported, ie U6000/30/31/50/51/55.
