  26. All I run local on this guy is an X server (X11R5 pl17), an Emacs and a
  27. couple of xterm's.  It runs the display fast enough.. XmText widgets scroll
  28. at full speed over the network for instance.  But if I try doing anything major
  29. local the screen slows down tremendously unless the X server is reniced
  30. to something like -15.  It was way slow when X was X11R3 ...

  32. The worst part is the weirdo things they did to the system administration
  33. on it.
