-
- Sorry, but the answer "use zic" is also *a* correct answer for the
- question "how do I change the time zone on a SunOS system?"
-
- "zic -l <time zone name>" will do the job.
- "/usr/etc/install/sys-config" may do so as well, of course, and may be
- more convenient and, as such, arguably a *better* answer (just as "use
- zic" is a more convenient and, as such, arguably better answer than
- "muck around with the '/usr/share/lib/zoneinfo' link yourself).
-
- Then again, "use '/usr/etc/install/sys-config'" requires that your
- system have "/usr/etc/install/sys-config"; 4.1 and later releases appear
- to have it, but I don't know that 4.0[.x] releases do.
-
- In either case, "when you have finished, reboot the system" is good
- advice.
