  11. I get a lot of catalogs of computer equipment.  One of hallmarks of
  12. such catalogs is that it's virtually impossible to figure out what a
  13. product does from the catalog description.  You can tell that someone
  14. who has no concept of what a user of the product might want to know
  15. wrote the product description.

  17. Not so for the SunExpress catalog.  Well, at least some of the info is
  18. useful.  For example, the memory section tells you exactly what kind
  19. and how many SIMM slots each machine has.  The SBus ethernet
  20. controller tells you *why* the card won't work on a 600MP.  I really
  21. hate marketing blurbs like, "the foobar supports up to 64MB of memory,
  22. and comes with 16MB installed."  That tells me next to nothing.

  24. So if anyone out there gives feedback to the SunExpress people, tell
  25. them good job on the details in the memory section, and lets see more
  26. hard details for other products.
