- This is totally incorrect. Sony News (Network Workstation) is
- a piece of hardware based originally on the 68K, now MIPS.
- Sun's NeWS is software. NeWS was originally called SunDew (Sun
- Distributed extensible Window system), but was changed to NeWS
- so as be able to market this software to non-Sun platforms. At
- the time it was thought (perhaps correctly) that IBM or DEC
- would not license or resell something with "Sun" in the label.
