- The idea GRiD has sounds pretty good. I got about 8 PenPoint demos at Comdex
- and all of them came off poorly because handwriting recognition is so
- difficult. Their entire interface depends on not just recognizing characters
- but also gestures and it's just too complicated. No one I saw could use one
- with any speed, not even Go employees.

- With the GRiD system you can use the pen for what it's good at -- pointing.
- And you can use the keyboard for what it does well -- data entry. Seems
- sensible to me.
