  12. The idea GRiD has sounds pretty good.  I got about 8 PenPoint demos at Comdex
  13. and all of them came off poorly because handwriting recognition is so
  14. difficult.  Their entire interface depends on not just recognizing characters
  15. but also gestures and it's just too complicated.  No one I saw could use one
  16. with any speed, not even Go employees.

  18. With the GRiD system you can use the pen for what it's good at -- pointing.
  19. And you can use the keyboard for what it does well -- data entry.  Seems
  20. sensible to me.
