  14. Since installing 3.0 (and upgrading to the current release of SLIP) I've been  
  15. having some minor, but annoying problems.  The main one is that the slip-down  
  16. script no longer closes the connection: I have to turn the modem off to drop  
  17. the line.  And if I get a busy signal on a connection attempt, or a dropped  
  18. line, then I often end up with two conflicting diald daemons (somehow) after I  
  19. try to redial, and then I have to kill both and start all over or nothing  
  20. works.
