- Since installing 3.0 (and upgrading to the current release of SLIP) I've been
- having some minor, but annoying problems. The main one is that the slip-down
- script no longer closes the connection: I have to turn the modem off to drop
- the line. And if I get a busy signal on a connection attempt, or a dropped
- line, then I often end up with two conflicting diald daemons (somehow) after I
- try to redial, and then I have to kill both and start all over or nothing
- works.
-
- Anyone else run into (and solve) these?
