  31. I have the exact same problem in reverse! I would like to print
  32. remotely from our NeXTstation to a SparcPrinter attatched to a Sparc
  33. 2. I have added the appropriate printcap entry in NetInfo and added
  34. the hostname of the NeXT to /etc/hosts.lpd on the Sparc. When I try to
  35. print to the remote printer the job is queued in the local queue but I
  36. get a message from the Sparc "Your host does not have line printer
  37. access". I have spoken to the local Sun experts, but they are at a
  38. loss. I have also spoken with a local NeXT expert who is also at a
  39. loss. Note that the Sparc prints to the SparcPrinter locally without
  40. problems and that the Sparc is *not* running NIS. Also note that both
  41. machines can resolve the hostnames successfully (ie, telnet and ftp
  42. work fine using hostnames).
