- This is probably going to show up as the 20th followup answer to this
- question, but here goes.

- The list is kept in /etc/shells. If the file does not exists, then only
- /bin/sh and /bin/csh are accepted. Look at /usr/local/bin/bash if you're
- interested in alternative shells.
