- Hello,
-
- I have things set up, and things seem to work fine for files being UUCP'd _to_
- me. But, today when I tried to UUCP some things to another site it wouldn't
- work, and I am at a loss for finding what might be wrong. In the shell I typed
- the following and got these results (I was in the directory where the file
- TEST.out is located.)
-
- # uucp -x9 TEST.out ati06!~/
-
- ** START **
- UID 0, User root,Ename () PATH /
- file1 - TEST.out
- send file - 2
- permission denied /General/UUCP/TEST.out
-
- I was trying to send the file "TEST.out" to the remote host (that I regularly
- receive file from via UUCP) "ati06", I've checked permissions for the file and
- the path to the file that I am sending and it is o.k. Even though it gives an
- error it still calls "ati06" and then logs out, but it does nothing with the
- file. Where might the problem be? I'm sure its something simple, but I don't
- know quite where to look. I am running 3.0 if that makes a difference.
- Many thanks in advance...
