  12. I have a question about software licenses for Adobe Illustrator.  We
  13. currently have one user using Adobe Illustrator; she has a
  14. NeXTstation color and her /LocalApps directory is nfs mounted from a
  15. NeXTcube server, which also doubles as someone elses workstation.  Now
  16. the person who uses the NeXTcube server as his workstation would like
  17. to start using AI also. [*]

  19. Is it a license violation to let both people use AI, provided that
  20. only one of them uses it at a time?  Both of them are in the same
  21. office, so it is fairly easy for them to check and see if the other
  22. person is using it.

  26. [*] The license included with our copy of AI states that it is for a
  27. single cpu or a multiuser system provided only one person uses it at a
  28. time, and that the person currently using it has the distribution
  29. diskettes in their possesion.  The distribution diskettes are normally
  30. kept with the manuals on the bookshelf in the office these two people
  31. share.
