- I have a question about software licenses for Adobe Illustrator. We
- currently have one user using Adobe Illustrator; she has a
- NeXTstation color and her /LocalApps directory is nfs mounted from a
- NeXTcube server, which also doubles as someone elses workstation. Now
- the person who uses the NeXTcube server as his workstation would like
- to start using AI also. [*]
-
- Is it a license violation to let both people use AI, provided that
- only one of them uses it at a time? Both of them are in the same
- office, so it is fairly easy for them to check and see if the other
- person is using it.

- [*] The license included with our copy of AI states that it is for a
- single cpu or a multiuser system provided only one person uses it at a
- time, and that the person currently using it has the distribution
- diskettes in their possesion. The distribution diskettes are normally
- kept with the manuals on the bookshelf in the office these two people
- share.
