  11. Dear Jeff and others in search of the Mac Emulator,
  12.  
  13. Our Mac emulator is called "Executor" (ig-zeck'-you-tor).  An executor is
  14. one who supervises the reallocation of resources that formerly belonged
  15. to an individual who is now deceased.  Some people pronounce Executor as
  16. "ex'-a-cute-or", an obsolete form of executioner; I guess our ".appl" icon
  17. may be reinforcing that misconception. Oh, but where would we be without
  18. playful ambiguity?

  20. The best place to get the demo version of Executor is
  21. unmvax.cs.unm.edu:pub/ardi/DEMO/Executor-DEMO4.tar

  23. The latest version of the demo is always guaranteed to be there.  You
  24. can also get it from cs.orst.edu and sonata.cc.purdue.edu, but
  25. unmvax.cs.unm.edu is where new versions appear first.

  27. If you're using NeXTSTEP 3.0, make sure that you get version "4" or
  28. greater of the demo.

  30. For those of you with Executor on backorder, I sincerely apologize for
  31. the delay.  We only recently started advertising Executor in NeXTWorld and
  32. also only recently began selling it through dealers (ask you local dealer).
  33. We sold so many copies in such a short time that we ran out of binders.
  34. We placed an order for a new run of binders many weeks ago and they're due
  35. in sometime this week.  We thank you for your patronage if you got
