  27.     In a pigs eye.  We are averaging about 1 disk in 3 as being 
  28. readable.  We're trying to read mostly NASA stuff but a lot of scientific 
  29. data is now available on ISO 9660.  
  30.     Mind you, it took IBM 3 patches 2 OS version upgrades, and 18 months
  31. to get their CD rom reader to read ISO 9660 disks. (AIX)
  32.     It's like russian roulette here.  You get a new data disk, and try
  33. reading on the Next, because that disk can be exported easily.  When that
  34. doesn't work, you try the RS6000, because at least it resembles unix.  It
  35. THAT doesn't work we take it to a PC.  That always works, but it's ethernet
  36. card and ftp program seems to max out at about 30 KB/sec
