- Hi Folks,
-
- I'm a relatively new NeXT user who is having BIG problems
- copying files to DOS floppies for transfer to a PeeCee.
- Hopefully someone can help enlighten me:
-
- 1. If files are copied to floppy, Processes panel reports
- "Invalid argument". The permissions on all these files
- seem to be fine (ie. r and w for me).
-
- 2. If I try and initialize a DOS disk then everything seems
- to go fine until the end when BuildDOS reports that the
- disk is damaged and attempts to repair it. Sometimes the
- system can then become unstable and generate Internal
- Error 10 or 11 [what do these mean ?]
-
- 3. If I try to save a WriteNow file directly onto said DOS
- floppy it reports that I have insufficient privilege. I
- think I do.
-
- Is this a hardware of software problem ? How is it fixed ?
- All help appreciated... this is driving me crazy....
- Please Email directly. Thanks in advance,
-
