  37. NeXTSTEP 3.0 does it today.  It's adjustable/available through (if I remember  
  38. correctly) the defaults database.  I've played with it and "shrunk" my  
  39. NeXTSTEP-recognized screen size before (to recover an off-screen window, before  
  40. I got VirtSpace).

  42. It's NeXT's hardware that's currently "locked" into the maximum of 1120 X 832.
