  12. I'm running 3.0 Golden, NeXTstation color, 20/400+1.1GB external, though I  
  13. think that's irrelevant.

  15. Mail.app has a bug which is easily reproducible and VERY annoying.  When I  
  16. have several compose windows open and use another application, such as  
  17. NewsGrazer or whatever to set up another compose window, (such as what happens  
  18. when I press 'reply' in NewsGrazer), then ALMOST what you expect happens.  You  
  19. get a new compose window in Mail.app, and the appropriate text (i.e. reply  
  20. message, etc) is set up in A compose window.  NOT THE compose window that was  
  21. just newly created though!!!!

  23. What happens is that it takes the first compose window in the list of compose  
  24. windows, and replaces all the text with that of the incoming message from  
  25. Newsgrazer!!!  Even though the correct window is at the END of that list.   
  26. This is really annoying because I lost 2 long, important, and complicated  
  27. email messages that way before I finally realized what was happening.

  29. So the work around is:  Don't have any compose windows under construction if  
  30. you are expecting to have another application set up a compose window for  
  31. you!!!
