- Hi-
- I'm running 3.0 Golden, NeXTstation color, 20/400+1.1GB external, though I
- think that's irrelevant.
-
- Mail.app has a bug which is easily reproducible and VERY annoying. When I
- have several compose windows open and use another application, such as
- NewsGrazer or whatever to set up another compose window, (such as what happens
- when I press 'reply' in NewsGrazer), then ALMOST what you expect happens. You
- get a new compose window in Mail.app, and the appropriate text (i.e. reply
- message, etc) is set up in A compose window. NOT THE compose window that was
- just newly created though!!!!
-
- What happens is that it takes the first compose window in the list of compose
- windows, and replaces all the text with that of the incoming message from
- Newsgrazer!!! Even though the correct window is at the END of that list.
- This is really annoying because I lost 2 long, important, and complicated
- email messages that way before I finally realized what was happening.
-
- So the work around is: Don't have any compose windows under construction if
- you are expecting to have another application set up a compose window for
- you!!!
