- OK, I just talked to an attorney. It's not criminally illegal. No
- encryption is criminally illegal to use in the US. Exporting it is a
- different matter. Using PGP violaties the patent owned by Public Key
- Partners for the algorithm used by PGP. While criminal charges will
- not be held against you for using PGP, RSA can file a civil suit
- against you for damages.
