  11. At the risk of getting extremely tiresome (if anyone has noticed..)

  13. This is my third attempt at getting some help on upgrading from v1.0 to
  14. v3.0. Everytime I post, something happens to our news server and I never
  15. get to see the hordes of replies. Please e-mail me.

  17. So far, with the help of some kind netters, I finally have the contents
  18. of the floppy with the CD-ROM Tools. When the nearest 2.88 stiffy is 
  19. thousands of km away, this was no mean feat.

  21. The UpgradePrep.app will not run under my 1.0 system. The message I get is
  22. UpgradePrep failed (Bad executable (or shared library))
  23.  
  24. What do I do now? Basically, I have an old '030 cube (that will not boot off
  25. the CD-ROM which it does not recognise as a device) with an OD and 1.0.
  26. THAT IS IT! I have the CD-ROM with what I think is the correct cable and
  27. I have a CDC SCSI drive on which I want to build a system.

  29. If I sound desperate... I AM... I also feel very lonely out here in the styx.
