- You've got a point there; but I believe that they were looking to
- integrate and administer from their DECstations. So having the root
- password on the NeXT(s) be the same as on the DEC's is probably what
- they want. They certainly should work things out so that userids and
- groupids match between systems.

- Obviously, there are security problems involved with this....and they
- can't really be solved short of using a more secure method. YP/NIS does
- better in this regard.
