  14. A couple of days ago I posted this in comp.sys.mac.apps, and so far have
  15. not received any responses.

  34. MacWarehouse has one package, Shopkeeper. I don't think it is going to do
  35. what we need.

  37. Today I called the National Software Database (free, 704-255-8259, 2400
  38. baud) to see what they had listed. Under the keyword "Inventory," they
  39. had _257_ commercial packages available. Only _one_ is for the Mac,
  40. "POS-IM." It costs $1,795 to to $2,495 from Ensign Systems, 801-546-6490.

  55. Now, there is bound to be a substantial market here for a software writer
  56. or company. And if you come up with a product, let us know...we really
  57. need something! We are interested in keeping inventory low, yet adequate,
  58. to save money, and we can afford to buy appropriate software.
