  12. Hi
  13. I am writing a sound playing utility that plays AIFF files in a
  14. continuous manner, (ie double buffers).  I know that this requires an
  15. ASC and an updated Sound Manager (6.0.7- 7.1).  So when I do the gestalt
  16. test for the ASC on my fx and ci everythings fine, but the test fails
  17. on the ClassicII.  Yet the toolbox call works perfectly (it returns an
  18. error on the plus,SE and classic).  What gives?  What is in the
  19. CLassicII (chip wise) and how do I test for it.
