- I posted this question a couple of weeks ago and got no answer. So I
- looked elsewhere. From the 020 ec020 user's manual:
-
- The EC020 does not have the following pins that are on the 020
-
- A24-A31
- /OCS
- /ECS
- /DBEN
- /IPEND
- /BGACK
-
- /OCS Operand Cycle Start - Indicates the first external bus cycle for
- an instruction prefetch or data operand transfer.
-
- /ECS External Cycle Start - Indicates the beginning of a bus cycle of
- any type.
-
- /DBEN - External data buffer enable signal
-
- /IPEND Interupt pending - The interupt request exceeds the current
- interrupt mask in the SR.
-
- /BGACK - Bus Grant Acknowledge - (The EC020 uses a two wire bus
- mastering protocol.)
-
- The PGA packages for both chips are on 13X13 grids but they are NOT
- pin compatible. The SMT versions of the chips are significantly
- different packages (132 pins for the 020 and 100 for the EC020)
