  21. In addition to comp.os.research there is comp.client-server. 
  22. comp.client-server discusses the "client server approach to distributed
  23. computing". Actually everybody on the group seems to have a different
  24. definition of client-server, but there have been some interesting
  25. discussions of synchronous versus asynchronous communication on there. 
  26.  
  27. Are there any other groups where distributed computing comes up?
