  10. hi, i have recently purchase a 486slc machine....and i was wondering
  11. why is it some software that i run in my 286 without any problem
  12. will hang in my new 486 machine? the problem is when i run those program
  13. it will hang immediately and some program will hang half way.
  14. i did not encounter such problem in my old 286 machine until i
  15. have those few program running on a 486.

  17. is it true that those software is not portable to a better performance machine?
  18. or is it something else?
