- Well Model 70 range from 16 MHz to 25 MHz 386 DX processors.
- So you machine is fine in that respect.
- Also the VGA on you computer is only an 8 bit VGA, so it is possible that if
- the 286 had an accelerated 16 bit VGA it would out perform you model 70.
- Adding memory to the video is not possible because it is on the motherboard
- and the VRAM can not be taken out and replaced.

- The mouse thing might be a problem with the hardware and need to be serviced.
- might want to check with local IBM dealer to see if the machine falls into
- the engineering change catigory. Otherwise get the latest version of the
- reference disk and test the system. See if that helps any.
