- I have a PS/2 70 which I purchased second hand.
-
- A few questions I'd like to ask...
-
- 1. It only appears to be running at 16MHz. I thought the 70s were at least
- DX-25s. Is there something wrong with mine?
-
- 2. If I hold down a key (any key!) and move the mouse it goes mental and
- the mouse moves and clicks by itself. This continues until I quit whatever
- program I'm in.
-
- 3. The VGA seems to be incredibly SLLOOWWWWWW! A friend of mine has a 286 and
- most games run FASTER on it! Wing Commander 2, especially, when I have it
- running with the expanded memory features. Any way I can speed it up?
- (Replacing the video RAM with faster memory chips, perhaps?)
-
- If anyone out there can help me I'd be enternally grateful...
-
- Ta muchly!
