- Summary: Hard disk won't boot at 33Mhz
-
- i have resently built a 386 33Mhz with 2 IDE Seagate drives, (which
- used to be on a different 386 33Mhz board).
-
- the problem is this, the hard drives won't boot if the turbo switch is
- on. so if i want to boot the machine i have to drop it to 17Mhz.
-
- even at 17Mhz, none of the norton disk utilities work!
-
- help me find some kind of solution. should i get a different
- controller or should i try a different 386 board (yes i have a spare).
