  23. From my experience Stacker won't work correctly when loaded high, which
  24. might have been what caused your problem.

  26. I have two hard drives on my system, so I stack the D drive and my
  27. RAM disk. I put stuff that doesn't compress well, like GIF files, on
  28. the C drive. Where Stacker really pays off for me is with Waffle.
  29. Waffle is a BBS system that provides me with my Usenet news feed.
  30. That is what I'm using now. With the various news group I read I end
  31. up with several thousand small text files on my system, because each
  32. article is a separate file. Stacker compresses these files about
  33. 5 to 1.
