- From my experience Stacker won't work correctly when loaded high, which
- might have been what caused your problem.

- I have two hard drives on my system, so I stack the D drive and my
- RAM disk. I put stuff that doesn't compress well, like GIF files, on
- the C drive. Where Stacker really pays off for me is with Waffle.
- Waffle is a BBS system that provides me with my Usenet news feed.
- That is what I'm using now. With the various news group I read I end
- up with several thousand small text files on my system, because each
- article is a separate file. Stacker compresses these files about
- 5 to 1.
