- I would suspect that the JPEG compression in Superstor 3.0 is probably
- a separate utility, rather than built in to Superstor. JPEG image
- compression is very computation intensive. I doubt that it is even on
- the same order of magnitude of the Lempel-Ziv algorithms that Superstor
- and Stacker use for realtime data compression.

- From what I understand JPEG also uses some lossless compression
- techniques and that if you want to you can use it without losing any
- image quality, if you don't mind not getting as much image compression.
