- so people don't have to remember when to not shut their machine down? Or

- to be backed up didn't accidently get turned off on backup day (night) for

- The specific users who won't cooperate with more typical backup schemes are
- no more reliable with procedures like you have listed. Sorry to sound
- pessimistic, but this is a block I've been around - and you will end up
- having to do one of the above (by the way, EMail doesn't work - when people
- are done for the day, they go on automatic and worry about getting home,
- not about the EMail they got an hour or so earlier).
