- I've scrounged a memory card out of a scrapped AT-clone, but don't have the
- documentation or software that came with it. I need help figuring out how
- it's supposed to work and how to set the switches and jumpers so that I can
- use it in another AT clone with a different configuration.
-
- There is a label on the board, probably from some distributor's inventory
- control system, which says:
- Everex Evercom Card, Memory, AT w/0K
- EVE-RAM8000 699755EVE13191
-
- There are sockets for four banks of 18 memory chips. Two of the banks are
- stuffed with 1Mb 80nS DRAMS. There's also an 84-pin ASIC with the following
- labels:
- EVEREX
- ICC-00160-0
- 7061-0011
- 9035EAY JAPAN
-
- There's a block of four DIP switches labelled "BOARD ADDR" near the ASIC.
- There are also two 2-pin jumpers, labelled "JP1" and "JP2". The board came
- to me with switches 1&2 on, 3&4 off, JP1 open, and JP2 shorted. I *think*
- JP2 is the parity interrupt enable, but everything else is guesswork.
