  14. I saw a lot of interests in the NETLAND about 15" MAG 15F monitor. I my self
  15. recently bought one. I have a bad experience getting a good MAG 15F
  16. monitor. I have to returned them twice until I got a good one.

  18. The first one I got, it has a tilted screen and the control panal door won't
  19. close.
  20.  
  21. The second one was even worse. It has a bad convergen, the screen was distorted
  22. on the top right hand corner, the left edge was not straight. and it made a 
  23. load hissing noice upon power up.

  26. The third one, I demanded to test it before I took it with me. They had to open 
  27. 3 new MAG before getting a good one. I guess the quality control of the 
  28. MAG Inovation is very bad.

  30. The following is the tip to check your MAG monitor.

  32. What you should check is as follows:
  33.  
  34. 1. Check for the convergen (red, green, blue). Check the horizontal line and
  35.    vertical line. See if you have a kind of shadow of red, green, or blue.
  36.    ( a good one should not have any shadow.) Usually, you will find a little
  37.    bit of shadow in the corners. (it is normal.) Even a good name like NEC
  38.    still have this kind of problem a little bit.

  40. 2. Edges must be straight! MAG does not have P-CUSTION control. 
  41.    It is preset from the factory. The good one should be straight. 
  42.    Horizontal and vertical.

  44. 3. Tube and degaussing process. Check if upon power up the monitor you hear any
  45.    hissing sound (very load). Usually it last for about 3-5 seconds. This is 
  46.    a sign of bad tube or degaussing.

  48. 4. The screen should be rectangle. Check the corners. They should be 
  49.    perpendicular.

  51. 5. Control panel door. Check if it closes properly.

  54. I would suggest that to buy the monitor at your local store if you can. 
  55. Otherwise you may end up paying a lot of shipping fee.

  60. One note, I think MAG is a good monitor compare to any others with the same
  61. features. I have seen about 8 monitors (15"). MAG consider the best one.

  63. There is other manufactures, such as NANAO & NEC. But they are about $100 - $200
  64. or even more expensive.
