  12. Hallo, everyone:
  13. I want to make a really simple MIDI interface for my 386. I've read
  14. of someone back in '87 using something like a Motorola 68705 
  15. for non-pc-interfaced projects. I have a couple of HC11's sitting around.
  16. All I want, basically is a card that fits in the bus (or even
  17. just interfaces to the parallel port), that will take a byte from 
  18. the PC and translate it to MIDI's serial 31.25 KBaud. 
  19. The HC11's can do this via their SCI port. I tried to scope
  20. a MIDI signal since I have no documentation (also I am
  21. new at this) and I don't quite understand the electricals of
  22. the signal. Can anyone clue me in on this?
