- According to my TVGA 8900 manual:

- SW3 configures scan rates for extended VGA modes.
- Ie, if the jumper is open, then you get the higher scan rate of 48.7kHz.
- Basically, this gives you non-interlaced operation.
- You can only use this if your monitor is capable of handling this.

- I don't know what OSC1 is for - there is nothing like this mentioned
- in the manual.

- The only switches that are mentioned are:
- Jumper J6 - Monitor detection
- Jumper J1 - IRQ9 control
- Jumper SW3 - see above
- Jumper SW4 - BIOS autodetect
