  20. I agree with you that they should provide the RAMDAC for free, since they
  21. advertised conflicting specs, but I think that you'd end up paying an extra
  22. $200 or so in additional shipping charges (depending on where you're located).
  23. I'm sure the money-back guarantee doesn't include shipping.

  25. Since the extra meg of VRAM and the RAMDAC cost $125, and VRAM goes for
  26. ~$100/meg, I figure the RAMDAC is costing ~$25, which is much less than $200.

  28. It's possible that the money-back guarantee could be excersied on the video
  29. card only, but since it's bundled with the system, I'm not sure.  Personally,
  30. I'm willing to purchase the video upgrade since I want the extra VRAM and it's
  31. worth $25 for the RAMDAC as long as I can be done with this once and for all.
  32. This whole experience sure has left a bad taste in my mouth.
