- Saw the ad for the Zeos subnotebook in PC Mag and was pretty impressed -
- MS Works loaded, decent keyboard, 10 hours on a set of AA batteries....
-
- Then, I saw a *very* similar machine in Singapore that was unbranded
- save for a very prominent notice that Microsoft Works was included in
- ROM. The machines look too identical and functionally seem too similar
- for me not to conclude that they are one and the same. This latter
- machine is made in Taiwan (note at side of box).
-
- So, the question is, does anyone know the source of the Zeos machine?
- Is it (like the tilt and swivel notebook) designed and made in America?
- Or is the absence of such a statement in the advertisement indicative of
- its lesser origins (apologies to any Taiwanese reading this!).
-
- Finally, anyone with positive or negative comments about this machine?
-
- Thanks in advance.
