  13. I have a Gateway DX2-50V local bus machine w/ the ATI Ultra Pro, and
  14. the Brief text editor refuses to coexist - I get "integer divide by zero"
  15. messages.  And if I don't reboot, scarier messages soon enough ("general
  16. disk failure").

  18. It crashes with the ATI card in EGA & VGA; running under Windows it
  19. brings Windows down with spectacular video effects.

  21. I've read a lot of stuff here about problems with the ATI Windows drivers;
  22. is anyone having trouble with it doing basic VGA / EGA emulation?  Could
  23. it be something with the local bus BIOS instead?
