- I have a Gateway DX2-50V local bus machine w/ the ATI Ultra Pro, and
- the Brief text editor refuses to coexist - I get "integer divide by zero"
- messages. And if I don't reboot, scarier messages soon enough ("general
- disk failure").
-
- It crashes with the ATI card in EGA & VGA; running under Windows it
- brings Windows down with spectacular video effects.
-
- I've read a lot of stuff here about problems with the ATI Windows drivers;
- is anyone having trouble with it doing basic VGA / EGA emulation? Could
- it be something with the local bus BIOS instead?
