- I too have a Quantum 240 drive - I originally ran it with an old Seagate
- ST157A 44MB drive, and while in that configuration it made a *lot* of
- noise - it was also very 'dangerous' (the seagate and the quantum didn't
- get on too well together) - I couldn't run both without quickly thrashing
- the disks. Once I ran the quantum on its own it was fine - it does make
- a bit of noise, but its never worried me (yet!).
-
- On the topic of Seagates and Quantums, has anybody had a ST157A and
- a LP240 working together *reliably* ??
