  11. I recently purchased a OEM laserprinter adn I'n need for some info
  12. about memory-upgrades for it.

  14. If anyone recognises the below, please emmail me. Even if you're not sure,
  15. I'll be VERY glad to hear from you.

  18. - Minolta Engine, 6 ppm
  19. - Called over here: 'VISA Laserprinter LSR-610/615')
  20. - Originally came in box with print on it: 'Laser printer'
  21. - 2 models:                standard    enhanced
  22. - HP-LJ II compaible               x           x
  23. - HP-GL/FX-80/Diablo 630/IBM comp.               x
  24. - 0,5 Mb RAM                   x
  25. - 1,5 Mb RAM                           x
  26. - RS-232/422 interface board                   x
  27. - 109 builtin-fonts               x           x
  28. - Maximum of 4,5 Mb RAM               x           x
  29. - Manual, A5, typical OEM           x           x

  31. The memory expansion (SIMM's) is possibel only on the serail-interface board,
  32. not directly in the printer itself. On this board, 4 SIMM's of 1 Mb each
  33. can be placed, giving 4,5 Mb of RAM
  34.  
  35. If anyone know/owns/has owned this printer or knows where these non-standard
  36. SIMM's can be purchased, please contact me. For instance, maybe you van mail
  37. me the adress/phone nr/fax nr of the supplier.

  39. This printer was intruduced about 2 years ago, late 1990, early 1991
