- Look on the modem itself. The chip will be easily recognized. Mine has
- the 16450, which is not nearly as nice as a 16550, but it's a pretty
- standard UART found in AT's, including the original IBM AT serial cards.

- I have no trouble getting 1675cps out of it (so says PCPlus) using
- Ymodem-G and a 14.4 v32bis/v42bis connection.
