  13. I have a '386 running DOS 5.0 with a 40 MB Seagate 157A. Recently, I 
  14. bought a Maxtor 7120A, 130MB drive and am trying to get them to work 
  15. together. I have found that the only way to do this is for the Seagate 
  16. to be the master and the Maxtor the slave. Can someone explain why the 
  17. other way around does not work? I would prefer this arrangement 
  18. (130MB as master -> C: and 40 MB as slave -> D:).
