- I have a '386 running DOS 5.0 with a 40 MB Seagate 157A. Recently, I
- bought a Maxtor 7120A, 130MB drive and am trying to get them to work
- together. I have found that the only way to do this is for the Seagate
- to be the master and the Maxtor the slave. Can someone explain why the
- other way around does not work? I would prefer this arrangement
- (130MB as master -> C: and 40 MB as slave -> D:).

- Cheers,
