- I am assembling a new 486 system, and have run into the following problem:
- the 3.5" floppy uses a "pin" type cable connector, while the 5.25" floppy
- is designed for the older style "card" type connector. The cables I have
- been able to find all have both of the same type of connector on them,
- either "pin" type or "card" type. If it makes a difference, the 3.5" will
- be set up as the A: drive. Are there converters (sort of like gender
- changers?) available. Does anyone know where a cable with both connectors
- might be ordered? Help!!! TIA,
