- HI,
-
- I was wondering if there were any CMOS docs available for FTP anywhere.
-
- The thing is I recently changed the "AUTO-CONFIGURATION" to enabled in my
- "ADVANCED CMOS-CHIPSET" menu and it seems to have speeded up my system.
-
- I ran a svga benchmark test and it was a lot quicker. (I can't even play
- Wing Commander with the turbo switch off -- its still too fast).
-
- I'd just like to know:
- What does the above option do?
-
-
- CMOS seems like it is a mysterious undocumented piece of my computer. I even
- went to the book store and couldn't find one book about CMOS. If there is
- any documentation about CMOS it seems to only cover the first menu option
- "STANDARD CMOS SETTINGS"
-
- THANKS !
