  10.         Hi.  I am trying to design a small device that will interface to
  11. a parrallel I/O port.  I have a few things that I need to know, though.

  13.         1.  What is the address of the port, or how is it determined?
  14.             This is needed for the driver software.
  15.  
  16.         2.  How is the port triggered?
  17.             I need to signel the device to latch the data.

  19.         3.  How is the data bus connected to the port?

  22.    Essentailly, what I am trying to do is hook an A/D converter to the port
  23. and read it into memory.  I know this is avilable for purchase, but I am
  24. building it for the experience.  I know how uProcessors work, so all I need to
  25. know is hardware configuration for connecting control lines.
