  17. Yes it is normal for the Pro Drives to make that noise.  I 
  18. believe someone else wrote that it is the drive compensating 
  19. for expansion/contraction that my have been caused by 
  20. temperature changes.

  22. BTW my previous post is for Quantums SCSI drives.  I don't 
  23. know if it applies to IDE ones.
