  13. I'm currently looking at purchasing a PC sometime soon.  After looking at
  14. several different configurations and CPUs in the $1800-$2000 range, I finally
  15. decided on a 486SX/25.  However, I've recently seen ads (mostly from mail
  16. order companies) for 486SX/33 systems.  If these will soon be available, this
  17. may be my chip of choice.  Are 486SX/33 systems shipping yet?  How much more
  18. expensive are they than a 486SX/25?  How much cheaper than a 486DX/33?

  20. Will there be any difference between the SX/33 and the DX/33 other than the
  21. lack of the FPU in the SX?  If that's the only difference, will applications
  22. which don't use the FPU run as fast on the SX/33 as on the DX/33?  Or am I
  23. missing something here?

  25. I had trouble deciding on a price/performance basis between the SX/25 and the
  26. DX/33.  This could be the answer for me.
