  10. HELP!  I keep losing my time/date info!
  11. This happens at an astronomical rate even when the computer is on!
  12. I have tried to attach an external battery pack because I thought
  13. it was just the battery dying but that's not the case.
  14. I do not have any problems losing any other CMOS data..
  15. And even when the computer is turned on, The clock seems to be running
  16. backward!  I checked it with "Checkit" right after resetting the time/date
  17. It passed the test.  I ate dinner and checked it agian (never turning off
  18. the computer or even exiting "Checkit".  It was off by an hour!
  19. If I turn the systemoff for a night, the time/date info is reset to
  20. Jan 1 1980, 00:00:00.  I am very frustrated... and I KNOW it's no tjust
  21. a battery problem.... Is there a clock chip or something that has gone
  22. bad??  Somebody Please Help!!!
