  10. I - and a lot of people I know - have problems with the Soundblaster Pro 2,
  11. the one with the 4 operator FM sound chip, and my 486 OPTi WBSX ISA motherboard
  12. When playing music through the FM channel sometimes some voices are left on,
  13. sometimes random noises are heard through the speakers. The only thing able to 
  14. stop the noise seems to be lowering the FM volume to zero or resetting the
  15. machine. I have heard that this is a problem with the OPTi motherboard oscilla
  16. tor: it's badly designed and interferes with the FM chip.. Do you know if this 
  17. is true ? Is there any way to overcome this situation ? Do you also know if 
  18. the new Sound Blaster 16 card exhibits this problem too ??
