  30. Me too.  And I agree.  But has anyone noticed this?

  32. Whether the video card is in a graphics or text mode, the corners are
  33. just a tad darker than the rest of the screen.  So for example if you
  34. have a blue background, then the four corners will be just a tad
  35. darker shade of blue.

  37. I also notice that if I have a white background and dark text, there's
  38. a bit of a shadow of the text to the right of the text.  I'm thinking
  39. that I didn't see these shadows until I borrowed a friend's cheapo VGA
  40. card (could a video card do that?  I hope so, else this post is one big
  41. contradiction!;-)).
