  8. Subject: Problem with HP-Drive C3010

  10. I got a 2 Giga-Byte-Drive HP C3010 on a
  11. HP 9000/720 (HP-UX 8.07). It works fine
  12. about 3 days. After this, the drive
  13. crached and is not reachable (SCSI at
  14. boot-time works, but /dev/dsk/... cannot open).
  15. I got a new one from my distributor. But
  16. some days later, the same problem occured.
  17. The SCIS-Bus is terminated correctly.
  18. There are only original HP products on the
  19. bus.
  20.  
  21. Now a have the 3rd drive on my desk.
  22. Are there any hints to built in the
  23. drive in the tower?

  25. The drive is built in a original 
  26. HP Tower, called "storage system". Other
  27. drives (HP 97560, 1,6 MB) and a DAT-drive
  28. worked without any problem.
